CAREER EDGE HOSTS ANOTHER DFC AWARENESS SESSION


Deborah Hierlihy (ASHPE staff) facilitated Dementia Awareness Training for the recent group of participants in the HEAT Program, sponsored by Career Edge PEC. These individuals are preparing to enter hospitality and tourism positions in Prince Edward County.


The Azheimer Society values our connection with Career Edge as part of our Dementia Friendly Communties program. Our goal is to assist employers in understanding more about dementia, how to interact with customers who may be impacted by dementia, and how we all have a role to play in helping individuals with dementia live well and live fully in the community of their choice.
